This is a 4 star game lodge. Eco tourism and hunting facility. 6 very nicely appointed double rooms

are available. 3 luxury rooms are also available.  Rates include 3 meals daily prepared by the chefs using local produce and the meat from the farm.

A very cosy lapa area for evening dining under the stars and a nicely located dining hall for breakfast

and lunch.  Game drives, mountain top sundowners and a very friendly staff will ensure your stay is pleasurable.

The farm is located near Greylingstad, 1 hour 30 mins from JHB

This is an organically certified farm. The farm does not use routine antibiotics or growth hormones on the animals.  Where possible the animals are left to graze and feed as they wish, cattle included.

Gordon (the owner), has his own feed factory in Springs that produce an organic feed made with barley and Lucerne.  This is only fed to the animals in drought times when some supplementation is needed.

​

The farm has free roaming wild Nguni Cattle and a full complement of Game.  The meat is harvested in the most humane way possible by Gordon or Glen Cronje from Seasons Cuisine.  No long truck rides to abattoirs which stress the animals out. The harvesting is done in a manner that eliminates high levels of stress hormones.   The animals are eviscerated on site and the entrails are left for the scavengers. This contributes to the total ecology of the farm.

The meat processing is done on site in a very professional butchery portioned and vacuum sealed for delivery within a few days of harvesting.  Fresh clean meat is the aim of this process.
